My Latest Saje Wellness Favourites

It’s pretty hard to believe I started this blogging journey almost one year ago; in fact, it’ll be one year on September 27, and I can honestly say I didn’t think that I would stick with this for 6 months, let alone a year - but we’ll get more into that in an upcoming blog post (wink, wink). The first blog that I posted on September 27, 2019 was My Saje Favourites, so I figured it would be fitting to make an updated blog post with my latest favourite items in September 2020!

If you’re not familiar with Saje Natural Wellness, the long & short of it is that they’re a wellness company that creates products using essential oils for various purposes including diffusers + diffuser blends, home cleaning, body care & more. I think it’s safe to say we’ve all needed a little extra self care this year, and I hope you’ve all been taking part in giving yourself whatever self care you need, but for me, one of my favourite ways to treat myself is to make a hot cup of tea, curl up on the couch with a blanket, turn on my diffuser and… well, I’d say read, but to be honest, I don’t read much… I’m probably just watching a movie (Halloweentown, anyone?). So let’s get into it - here are my latest favourite items from Saje:

Rolling Peppermint Halo on the back of my neck

PEPPERMINT HALO ROLLER

If you follow Saje, or just about any influencer that works with them,  you’ve probably heard of their infamous roller, Peppermint Halo. I’m pretty certain it’s actually their best selling item, it’s that great! One of the things I’ve seen people use Peppermint Halo for the most is rolling along their temples & hairline when they get a headache, and as much as I do enjoy using it for that, my favourite way to roll on Peppermint Halo is on my neck. Peppermint essential oil gives me a cooling feeling (some people get a cooling sensation, others  warming & some people feel both!), and it’s my go-to item to keep around especially when I’ve got a cold & I get wicked upper back/shoulder body aches - it’s the only thing that helps me between my doses of Advil!

AROMA CARVE DIFFUSER

Along with my extensive collection of Saje products are three diffusers, but since my last blog post, when I only had one diffuser - you guessed it - Jillian Harris came out with another collaboration with them, revealing the new Aroma Carve diffuser. Now, the reason I prefer this one to my other diffusers is the length of time this one diffuses, as it goes for 7 hours continuously or 14 hours intermittently*, and fills quite a large room, which has been great since moving to my apartment where I have a rather large living room. I’m also a huge fan of the sleek, modern but simple design & look of this diffuser. It can go in pretty much any style of home & look like it fits in.

* Timing is approximate & depends on the conditions of your space.

House Warming diffuser blend

HOUSE WARMING DIFFUSER BLEND

To go along with my favourite diffuser is my current favourite diffuser blend, House Warming*. When I purchased my first diffuser, I also picked up a capsule collection of three older blends that Saje previous sold & discontinued, but brought back for a limited run. In that collection was probably the best blend I’ve ever smelled, called Sacred Space. Of course, I’ve savoured that blend for special times, but I was on the hunt for something similar when an associate recommended the House Warming blend. It’s pretty much as close as I can get to Sacred Space, and is my absolute favourite diffuser blend for the fall. If you have the House Warming blend, open your windows, let in a cool fall breeze & diffuse this – it’s absolutely blissful.

* Unfortunately, the House Warming diffuser blend is not currently being sold.

Safe Hands hand soap

SAFE HANDS — LOTION & SOAP

Ahhh, 2020 - the year that keeps on giving… I’ll rejoice seeing you out on December 31st. Remember back in March when the pandemic was first declared, and everyone flocked to the stores for hand soap, disinfecting wipes & toilet paper (I’m still scratching my head about that one)? Well, luckily I was stocked up on my Saje hand soaps, and one of my personal favourites is their Safe Hands Hand Soap as it smells so earthy & clean. One of the best parts about this foaming hand soap is that it lasts a good amount of time. I briefly switched to a much cheaper hand soap that I found we go through in about two weeks, while my Saje ones last about a month, or more. This is kind of a two-for-one favourite product though, because I also want to give mention to the Safe Hands Antimicrobial Lotion - with all of the hand washing we’ve been doing this year (20 seconds, people!), we also need to make sure our hands are moisturized!

LAVENDER MIST

I’m not even going to pretend like I’ve been doing perfectly fine all throughout this pandemic - if you’ve read my blog before, you’ll have seen a couple of other posts where I openly discuss some of the things I’ve struggled with, but one I haven’t talked about much is my inability to sleep through the night. I’ve always been someone who usually wakes up once, sometimes twice in the night, but since the pandemic started, and my stress levels skyrocketed, I wake up at least 3 times a night now, so to say I will do just about anything to get a good night’s sleep, is an understatement. This is where the Saje Lavender Mist comes in! Every night, I like to mist this on my pillow right before I’m about to hit the hay. When I’m really in need of help getting to sleep, I also like to include the Sleep Well Roller & Peaceful Slumber Diffuser Blend to the mix to really help me get relaxed.

So there you go - those are my latest favourite products from Saje! I still also love all of the other items that I listed on my blog last year (if you haven’t read it yet, read it here!), but as time goes on, new favourite items are found! What are your favourite items from Saje? Don’t have any yet? Well go get some! Don’t forget to come back to my blog Friday for a new post where I share my favourite ways to make my home cozy for the fall.
