2024 Holiday Gift Guide for Him
Hello to this year’s Holiday Gift Guide for Him! You know the drill – just because the title of this blog says “for him”, this gift guide is for anyone you are shopping for, regardless of gender identity — as long as it’s a gift they’ll love, that’s what matters most!
When thinking about this year’s gift guide for him, a lot of these items fall into two categories – “this is cool!”, and “he wouldn’t buy this for himself”, which is essentially what shopping for any man in my life is like… so let’s get into it!
01. Cookbook | 02. Wallet | 03. Yeti Mug | 04. Phone Case | 05. Socks | 06. AirPods Pro 2 | 07. Cologne | 08. Mini Projector | 09. Flannel Button-Up | 10. Long Sleeve Shirt | 11. Cast Iron Pan | 12. Toque | 13. Water Bottle | 14. Yeti Bag
01. COOKBOOK
Not only does the newest Matty Matheson cookbook make a stellar Christmas gift, but maybe it’s less meals I’ll have to cook this year? Taking my own advice here and adding this to my husband’s list of gifts he’s getting in hopes this will happen! (In all seriousness, he does cook a lot, don’t worry!)
02. WALLET
I don’t know what it is about a lot of men, but they will have a wallet that is hanging on for dear life and not replace it! If this sounds like someone you’re shopping for, take this as a hint to get him a new one.
03. YETI MUG
Yeti mugs for literally anyone is a great gift. They’re definitely a pricier item, so a lot of people won’t splurge and purchase one for themselves (unless they’re big into camping, hiking, etc. maybe?). Highly recommend this as a gift!
04. PHONE CASE
The newest iPhones and Google Pixel phones have recently made their way onto the market, so a new phone case is a must and would make an awesome gift for someone who got a new phone this season.
05. SOCKS
Again, what is it with a lot of men and just continuously wearing socks with holes in them? Replace them this year!
06. AIRPODS PRO 2
Updated with the new USB-C charger is the AirPods Pro 2’s. If they’ve already got some first generation AirPods Pros, this won’t be a massive upgrade, but if they’re in the market for some new wireless earbuds, check ‘em out!
07. COLOGNE
Whether it’s a refill of their everyday go-to cologne, their favourite that they just can’t bring themselves to repurchase or they’re looking for something new, who doesn’t just love to smell good?
08. MINI PROJECTOR
I must admit, while researching this gift guide, I came across the idea of a mini projector and I may or may not be adding this to my husband’s gifting list this year. I think this is such a cool idea, especially if you have space like in a backyard for outdoor movie nights!
Tis the season for staying warm and toasty, and a new go-to flannel button-up always does the trick if you ask me! It’s perfect for layering, and I can honestly say I don’t know many guys who don’t love flannels.
If you want something to gift along with the flannel button-up, why not a long sleeve shirt? Basics seem to be something that a lot of people won’t buy for themselves, so a plain coloured long sleeve makes for a useful gift. Or, if you’re looking for something with a bit more of a pop of colour, a graphic long sleeve is great too!
11. CAST IRON PAN
If you’re shopping for someone who enjoys cooking, but they haven’t invested in a cast iron pan yet – what are you waiting for?! This is especially a great gift for those who are vegetarian and need more iron in their diet.
12. TOQUE
Well, if you’re from Canada, this is always a must! A new toque is sure to be a well-used gift as the days get cooler, the blizzards get stronger & the desire to leave your house hits an all time low.
13. WATER BOTTLE
Unless the person you’re shopping for already has 500 water bottles (sustainability means having one or two bottles and reusing them!), a massive water bottle that keeps your water cold, and provides all-day hydration would make an excellent gift, especially for someone who prioritizes drinking lots of water, or exercises frequently.
14. YETI BAG
Last, but most certainly not least, this is a bit of an investment piece but a Yeti bag would sure to make for an incredible gift, especially if the recipient loves to camp and/or hike.
Another gift guide all wrapped up for this holiday season! While you’re waiting for the next, don’t forget to check out this years’ Canadian Small Shop Holiday Gift Guide, and the Holiday Gift Guide for Her!
