The New Solo Shadow & Brush No. 2
Let’s start off with the Solo Shadow, as I am wholeheartedly in love with this product. Admittedly, over the last few years, much like everyone else, I really scaled back on the amount of makeup I was wearing, and the number one product that I really cut back on using was eyeshadow. However, I am happy to say that after using this eyeshadow, I think those days are in the past.
I received the Solo Shadow in the colour Brun; a deep, chocolatey brown that I could not wait to get on my eyelids. The formula cream based with a matte finish, and comes in a total of 8 shades – 4 neutral and 4 statement colours. The shadow applies evenly and beautifully to the lid, and blends like a dream, but the best part is it can be applied with simple tools like your finger, or their new Brush No. 2 – a dual ended brush that makes all over application & blending seamless, and is accompanied by a smaller, more precise brush making it easy to apply this shadow as a liner, or under your eyes for a smokey look (which is my personal favourite!).
