Tech Products I Can’t Live Without
In 2021, it’s easy to say that just about everyone of us has some form of tech product, whether it be a laptop, a Nintendo Switch and let’s be honest, most of us have a cell phone. In a sea of tech products that are so ingrained into our everyday life now, it’s easy to feel like they’re just… there. Today, I want to share with you all some of my personal favourite tech products that I can’t live without. They aren’t all specifically tech products in the sense that they’re $500+, but some things are accessories for those tech products, that will help you to make use of them more easily!
Noise Cancelling Headphones
So, when it comes to writing, I actually need total silence so I can focus on what I’m trying to say. However, my full time job is as a graphic designer, and when I’m working on design projects, I hate when it’s totally silent, and I actually need some noise. That being said, I also hate being distracted or interrupted while I’m working on design projects, and that’s where noise cancelling headphones come in. I personally have the Studio 3 Beats by Dre, but there are tons of options out there for any budget.

Apple Watch
I’ve had an Apple Watch for about 5 years now and I absolutely love it! I made the upgrade from the Series 2 to the Series 4 a couple of years ago, and I can honestly say it’s probably one of my favourite tech accessories that I own, to this day. Of course, the Apple Watch is not only pricey, but works specifically with the iPhone, so if you’re interested in the Apple Watch, but have an Android (but someone in your home has an iPhone), you can opt for the Apple Watch SE. Or, if you’d rather just go with something else entirely, I’ve linked a few other options for you in the carousel below!
Phone & Laptop Stands
Though these may be grouped together, I have two seperate uses for my phone stand and my laptop stand. Starting with the phone stand – I actually bought a phone stand after I saw it on one of Steph Jolly’s must have videos about a year or so ago, and I thought it was a great addition to my office desk. In fact, I bought one to keep there (and then of course, the pandemic was declared). It’s great to have while I’m working so I can see all of my incoming messages & phone calls without having to turn on the vibrate or ringer.
For the laptop stand - this has been a lifesaver for both my slouching, and multitasking. I generally like to keep my laptop beside me while I’m working so I can listen to podcasts and… well yeah, mainly listen to podcasts! It’s great that I don’t have to bend my neck down, and everything is all on the same level. Speaking of slouching, that’s another thing it helps with too! I use my laptop to work on my blog, so it’s great that when I’m creating content, I’m not slouching at my desk. Instead, I’m looking straight ahead, and actually sitting more straight-up.
Wireless Keyboard & Mouse
A wireless keyboard & mouse are especially helpful for me personally for my work stuff. Funny enough, I don’t sit in a chair “normally” all day. I like to sit cross-legged, and every which way so I like to have a wireless keyboard & mouse in case I’m sitting further back than usual. Also, who wants to tug on wires all day if they get stuck?
Nintendo Switch
Lastly, but certainly not least, I’ve been so thankful to have my Nintendo Switch throughout the last year. I was lucky enough to get one just before they all seemed to sell out back in March when we all thought we would be in quarantine for two weeks. Ha. Joke’s on us, eh? It’s truly been such a lifesaver for my entertainment when I’m not in the mood to scroll social media, work on my blog or do anything else, really. It may be pricey, but it’s so much fun, and well worth it!
Do you have any tech products or tech accessories that you love and need in your life? If you do, please drop them in the comments below. I’m actually a bit of a tech nerd (especially for Apple products!), so I love hearing about some awesome tech products that may improve my life or productivity.
