Valentine’s Day Gift Guide for Him

Guess who’s back with another Valentine’s Day gift guide just for you? I know, you’re all shocked — it’s me! I cannot believe that Valentine’s Day is only a week away, so it’s time to get moving on any potential gift ideas. Of course, as always, this blog may be titled “for him”, but I’m a firm believer that whether you’re shopping for him, her or them, as long as you know that they’ll love it, that’s what makes a great gift!

Now, jumping into this gift guide — I consulted my fiancé on what some great gift ideas would be for this upcoming Valentine’s Day, so essentially you’re getting my fiancé’s gift guide, haha! As always, I like to include items that fit any budget, with an emphasis on more mid-priced items. So let’s jump in!

Collage of Valentine's gift ideas for him.

Clothing & Accessories

When talking about what things he’d love as gifts for Valentine’s Day this year, my fiancé really seemed to place an emphasis on a lot of gym and workout related items, one of them being a nice Under Armour workout shirt. Not only is this a really affordable option (at least for me), but it comes in lots of colours as well. He also mentioned a good pair of sunglasses (if your Valentine is anything like mine, they won’t ever buy themselves a pair, so you have to do it for them…), if you’re in a cool climate like us, a quality toque & a pair of New Balance sneakers for everyday use! I know he’d get great use out of those given how he pretty much doesn’t wear anything but sneakers, haha!

Grooming Supplies

Does anyone else need to hound their partner to wash their face & actually take care of their grooming routine? I don’t know what it is, but skincare & grooming is drilled into women’s brains from the time they hit puberty but for some reason, the same idea isn’t given to men (maybe with the exception of shaving?). If you’re looking for some gift ideas to keep your Valentine’s grooming game strong, a great option is the Kiehl’s shaving cream or even a nice cologne of their choice!

Tech

I’m such a sucker for tech items as gifts, especially when I know it’s something that they’re looking for. The only item that my fiancé gave me was a quality pair of wireless ear buds, but I couldn’t help but include a couple of other options as well including an Apple TV (also a great option for those with an Apple Watch and Apple Fitness+ account!), and a smart watch (that works with Android and iPhone).

Miscellaneous Gift Ideas

Last but certainly not least, the list of items that I couldn’t quite find a category to call it’s home on this list. If your Valentine is into reading, a good book makes a great gift option & is usually very affordable! Or if they’re looking for a new gym or travel bag, a new duffle bag would be perfect! Or, if he’s anything like my fiancé and a total coffee snob, look no further than the portable cold brew maker — I could totally see him using this every day in the summer!

Alright, if you’ve found any good gift ideas on here, it’s time to get shopping! Like I said, there’s only seven more days until February 14th, so time is running out. If you saw anything on here that you want your valentine to buy you… don’t be shy! Send them this blog post - I think they’ll get the hint! 😉
