Valentine’s Home Decor
Ahhhh! Valentine’s Day — one of my favourite times of the year. I’m obsessed with love, pink and hearts, so of course this “holiday” brings me so much joy, not just in life but in my home decor! Honestly, who doesn’t want hearts & pops of pink throughout their home? Okay, well I’m sure there’s definitely people out there who hate the idea of that, but you know what to expect when you come on here & see tons of pink on my blog ;) So, let’s get into how I love to decorate, simply but effectively with Valentine’s Day decor:
1. Bath Mat | 2. Heart-Shaped Dutch Oven | 3. Heart Garland | 4. Doormat | 5. Wall Sign | 6. Salad Plate | 7. Heart Coasters | 8. Love Wall Sign | 9. Marble Heart Board | 10. Oven Mitt & Pot Holder | 11. Roses | 12. Heart Mug | 13. Tea Towels
In The Kitchen
I feel like the best about Valentine’s Day is all of the heart shaped items that you can get for your kitchen, and they don’t necessarily scream “Valentine’s Day”. You can easily use a plate or mug stamped with a heart on it, year round - same with a heart shaped dutch oven. Yes, it’s definitely on the feminine side, but there’s nothing wrong with a little feminine touch. Plus, it’s not like these items stay out on the counters for everyone to see 24/7. Also… who’s seeing it besides the people you live with right now, anyways?! Hahaha.
Around The Home
From a heart door mat at your front door to welcome your guest (please don’t right now though), to simple pieces of heart-shaped, Valentine’s-themed wall art, you can add pops of love around your home so easily. But really, what better way to add some Valentine’s Day love to your space than with a classic bouquet of a dozen red roses? Or better yet, two dozen!
What are your favourite ways to decorate for Valentine’s Day? Do you do anything of these kinds of decorations in your home like I do? Let me know in the comments below! See you next week for three brand new blog posts. Happy Valentine’s Day!
