3 Swim Looks to Rock This Summer

I don’t know about you, but all I can catch myself thinking about over the last couple of weeks is how badly I want to jump into a chilled pool on a hot summer day — especially because the weather is just getting hotter and hotter every week! And with all of these thoughts about going swimming in a pool, or even in a lake at the cottage, I can’t help but think about all of the cute outfits (and useful accessories!) I want to wear to all of the very water-focused occasions I plan on attending this summer, and well, I want to share all of those fun little thoughts with you!

Poolside

I have to admit, I absolutely love swimming, but yet I never seem to find myself taking advantage of any opportunities to go swimming – make that make sense! But this summer, I won’t allow myself to hide from the sun in the A/C, but instead go swimming whenever the opportunity presents itself, and look dang cute while doing so (if I do say so myself). I just ordered myself this striped one piece from Summersalt (and at the time I’m writing this, their entire site is 30% off!), and I cannot wait to wear this cute little number as much as humanly possible throughout the summer.

For the Cottage

I’m definitely lucky to be married into a family that has a cottage, but we truly don’t take advantage of going to it enough throughout the summer months. We usually only end up there once, maybe twice, which if you ask me is definitely not enough. I undoubtedly want to make sure we go up more often this year, and since I recently got the Business & Pleasure cooler bag and ice pack, I plan on stuffing that thing full of snacks & drinks to enjoy sitting on the dock, and I just may have to treat myself to that one-shoulder swimsuit too, if I can justify it.

At the Backyard BBQ & Pool Party!

Well, I can confidently say that this is something that is 100% on my summer plans this year, because we’re heading to a backyard BBQ & pool party in just a couple of weeks! And I may or may not have bought myself a pool floatie recently, despite the fact that I do not have a pool (gotta manifest it!), so I will be packing up my bag with all of my essentials, especially SPF, and enjoying time with family & friends while splashing in the pool (and enjoying a yummy BBQ)!
