How I'm Styling My JH x Joe Fresh Pieces This Fall

Hello all, and welcome back to yet another Jilly-inspired blog post, haha! If you aren’t already aware, on October 5th, Jillian gave me the early birthday gift of dropping a new fall collection with Joe Fresh, and I was so excited to get my hands on it! I even got up at 6am to get to my local Joe Fresh location to get my hands on the items at opening. I even was surprised with walking in & seeing that they had the entire collection, so I did more than a little shopping this past Tuesday morning. Let’s jump into everything that I got!

What Pieces I Got & Sizes

Let’s quickly talk about exactly what items I got and in what sizes as well as colours, since there were a few items with colour variations! The first thing that I grabbed was the Marjorie Tee — I knew I had to get my hands on the most quintessential Jillian Harris item in the collection. I sized up from my usual size for a more oversized look. The next item I grabbed was the Karissa Sleep Top and Pants, in the heart pattern — both pieces I grabbed in my usual size, as well as the Angela Cardigan in white, in my usual size. After that, I went for the Harris Coat, which I wasn’t planning on getting but I just couldn’t leave it behind! I grabbed the coat in a size up so I could wear thicker sweaters as the weather gets cooler under it without feeling constricted. The next items I grabbed were the Sammy Tunic in white, in a size down for a more fitted look, the Steph Sweater, in white, in my usual size & the Mindy Top in white, in my usual size. Lastly, another unexpected purchase was the Peaches Jeans, which I got in my usual size as I wanted a new pair of white jeans, and they were a great price point.

How I’ve Styled The Pieces

Though I haven’t had a chance to style every single piece that I was lucky enough to get my hands on, the few outfits that I’ve thrown together I have absolutely loved. For my engagement photoshoot, I chose to wear the Steph Sweater with the Peaches Jeans, and a pair of cognac brown ankle booties. I was seriously lucky that I didn’t get completely filthy given that I had Freddie with me, and it was a wet morning on a pumpkin farm!

Another outfit that I absolutely loved that I put together is the Sammy Tunic with a pair of black leggings, the same cognac ankle booties, and the Harris Coat. It’s probably one of the most extra, over-the-top coats I’ve ever owned, and I absolutely love it. I totally see myself wearing this coat well into the early winter, and maybe even through winter if it’s mild enough!

Lastly, though I’m not sure how much you’d call this “styling”, I love wearing my Angela Cardigan paired with the Karissa Sleep Top and Pants. It’s so cozy, especially when we have our windows open to let the cool fall breeze in!

Though I haven’t styled every piece quite yet, you can check out my Instagram where I tried on every piece for a reel! I’m so excited I was able to get my hands on so many pieces. My only regret is not grabbing the leopard print sneakers*… I saw them, and I knew I should’ve grabbed them, but alas — it wasn’t meant to be! Let me know how you’re styling your JH x Joe Fresh pieces this fall in the comments below!

* Since writing this blog, I went back and was able to grab the Tori Sweater in pink, the Shannon Skirt, the Patti Jeans, the Mary Sneakers & the Kaitlin Boots. I’m so happy (and lucky) I was able to pick up these items after having not updated my wardrobe in a long while.
