Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Yep, it’s that time of year again! Mother’s Day is quickly approaching (I’m talking like just over two weeks away now!), and since we’re still living through a pandemic, I’m thinking some people (myself included) may have forgotten about the upcoming holiday and that I should probably get on purchasing a gift sooner than later! Of course, as with any holiday, one of my favourite thing to do is create a gift guide to help anyone out there who may need a little inspiration. Of course, this doesn’t cover all moms & interests, but here’s some ideas to get you started.
1. Vermeil Adorned Necklace | 2. Bath Salts | 3. Gardening Tote | 4. Vegan Crossbody | 5. Essential Oil Diffuser | 6. A Year In Flowers Book | 7. Flower Pot | 8. Mixing Bowl
For the Gardener
If the mom in your life is happiest while in the garden — firstly, I can relate. Secondly, there’s tons of great new gardening stuff on the market that isn’t your typical, run of the mill gardening supplies that you used to only be able to buy at the local hardware store. There’s tons of supplies now that are not only functional, but also very cute & trendy. Check them out!
For the Chef
Whether your mom likes to cook, or bake, if their happy place is in the kitchen, you can’t go wrong with gifting her something that will bring her even more joy, or make her life easier while doing said cooking or baking. Thinking outside of the box may come in handy as well! If your mom is finding that she’d like to be more eco-friendly in the kitchen, think about a countertop composter! They can be pricey, after all.
For the Self-Care Queen
There’s no denying the last year has been rough on all of us, but I’m willing to bet that a lot of moms have gone above and beyond, between taking care of their kids while working from home, and balancing every other fun household task. While all of us deserve some time to ourselves & a nice bubble bath, mom’s really are deserving of it! Whether her definition of relaxation is a hot bath, a glass of wine or sitting down to paint her nails, get her something that will bring her some joy & relaxation this Mother’s Day.
Like I mentioned, not every interest could possibly be covered in this blog post, but if you’re looking for something a bit more generic, you truly can’t go wrong with a beautiful bouquet of flowers — try hitting up a local florist too, so you are not only spoiling your mom, but also helping out a small, local business.
