My Everyday Jewellery
Jewellery. Some of us love wearing it daily, and others, not so much. Funny enough, I never really used to consider myself someone who would have a go-to set of jewellery items that I had to wear daily. I’ve got important pieces to me that mean more in sentiment than they do in value, but it’s only been in the last few years that I find myself grabbing the same view pieces on a regular basis. Though the title of this blog may be my “everyday” jewellery, it’s more like my most of the time jewellery — because I am definitely not getting dressed up daily while we’re working from home in a pandemic, haha! So, let’s jump into the items that I gravitate towards the most often on a day-to-day basis.
MELANIE AULD X JILLIAN HARRIS ADORNED NECKLACE
To start, more often than not, I have my Melanie Auld x Jillian Harris Adorned necklace in vermeil gold on. My favourite thing about this necklace is that it’s completely customizable, from what kind of chain you want, the finish (comes in vermeil gold, sterling silver & 14K gold) & of course, the charms that you want to add. I had originally bought this necklace a few years ago when it initially launched, and over time it did start to tarnish. When Jillian & Melanie announced they revamped the line to vermeil gold that could be re-plated, I asked for a new one for my birthday & got the bar charm with some loved ones initials, the puffed heart to represent my partner & of course, the paw to represent my dear Freddie.
LARSSON & JENNINGS X JILLIAN HARRIS JILLY WATCH
Whenever I’m not wearing my Apple Watch, I always grab my Larsson & Jennings x Jillian Harris Jilly Watch that I received as part of the Winter 2020 Jilly Box (if you haven’t had a chance to read that unboxing post, check it out here!) It’s classic, timeless & I love how lightweight it is. Of course, as you can see, I’m a gold girl, so I selected this watch in gold to complement my other pieces of jewellery that I wear regularly. Like I mentioned, I do usually wear my Apple Watch, but this is a great piece that I love having in my collection for a dressier outfit, or night out with friends (whenever that can happen again, haha!)
MELANIE AULD X JILLIAN HARRIS JILLY PAVE STUDS
Last, but certainly not least is the newest piece of all of the items, and that is my Melanie Auld x Jillian Harris Jilly Pave studs — are you sensing a (very unsurprising) theme here? These were apart of the very first Jilly Box back in 2019, but at the time, I hadn’t gotten the opportunity to purchase the box, so I missed out on this item. Come Valentine’s Day this past year, I asked my partner if he would get me these for Valentine’s Day, and he, being the sweet guy he is, came through. They’re my go-to, everyday earrings since they’re so simple & delicate, they go with everything in my closet!
