The Ultimate Holiday Playlist

Hands up if you’re also absolutely obsessed with Christmas music!? I know it’s a hot topic among a lot of people, but I absolutely LOVE Christmas music. From All I Want for Christmas is You to Santa Tell Me, I can pretty much guarantee that I know all of (or at the very least most of) the lyrics. If this sounds like you too, then I can’t wait to share this, in my humble opinion, amazing playlist filled with holiday music, created by yours truly!

A LITTLE BIT OF THE CLASSICS…

If you were to ask me what my favourite kind of holiday music is, I’d 100% say the classics! I’m talking Blue Christmas by Elvis Presley, Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee and Holly Jolly Christmas by Burl Ives. Anything that even remotely reminds me of the music playing in my favourite childhood Christmas movies (I’m looking at you, The Santa Clause!), it’s probably something that I’d claim to be one of my favourites - so of course, I couldn’t create a holiday playlist that wasn’t filled with these classic songs!

AND A LITTLE BIT OF THE NEW STUFF!

That being said, I don’t by any means dislike the newer holiday music! In fact, All I Want For Christmas is You by Mariah Carey just maybe in my top 10 songs of all time (yeah, I’m obsessed!). Whenever I think of some of my favourite “newer”, more modern Christmas songs, I think of Underneath The Tree by Kelly Clarkson, It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas by Michael Bublé and Like It’s Christmas by the Jonas Brothers (yep — even the Jonas Brothers!).

There’s truly a mix of older & newer songs in this playlist, and it’s filled with all of my favourites. The best part is because I like so many Christmas songs, it’s 64 songs-long, and lasts for just shy of 3 and a half hours; AND I’m always adding new music to it! This playlist is easily one you can throw on for your holiday get together this year.
