What’s in my Cart for Early Summer Fashion
I know it feels like spring just got started, but we’re already over halfway through this season, and the summer solstice is quickly approaching — in fact, it’s only 52 days away! And before you know it, the pools will be opening, the trees will be shading us from the hot summer sun, and patio season will officially be upon us again. I’ve been eyeing up so many cute summer dresses, shorts and every accessory in between in anticipation for the summer months & the return of cottage season, and today I want to share some of my favourite finds with you!

Sundresses
If you ask me, nothing screams summer quite like the perfect sundress. I’m definitely someone that leans a bit more into rocking a dress throughout the warmer months instead of shorts and a t-shirt (though, I do enjoy those too!), and I’m a thorough believer in having lots of options for lots of occasions! I like to have a mini, midi & maxi in my closet at all times depending on what I’m doing that day.
Shorts
Even though I’m not as much into shorts, I love a good denim short & graphic tee look in the summer, and over the years, I’ve really embraced wearing longer shorts, especially since they’ve come back in style recently, there’s far more options out there!
Accessories
I am 150% a huge accessory girl and a huge believer that they are what really makes an outfit, a look. Though my favourite season to accessorize in is fall, summer has so many cute options including sunhats, market totes, sunglasses and everything in between.
Swimwear
And of course, it wouldn’t be summer if you didn’t treat yourself to a new swimsuit, right?! I honestly don’t spend too much time in the water myself, so it’s not something I find myself needing a ton of, but I love to have one or two options for cottage getaway weekends, or days at the pool when it’s wicked hot!
It’s hard to believe we’re creeping up on summer as quickly as we are. I know I say this frequently, but time is just going so fast, I wish it’d slow down just a little bit! What is your favourite thing to treat yourself to in the summer? Let me know in the comments!
