What’s in my Cart: Spring Fashion

We’re quite literally only a few days away from the official start of spring, and I am unable to contain my excitement, much like everyone else. Don’t get me wrong, I love winter (yes, I actually do like winter…), but I don’t know what it was about this past year, but I am just so over the cold and snow, and I’m so ready to enjoy a little more sunshine, and of course, get back into the garden. I’m convinced gardening is going to be my entire personality this spring & summer, honestly! But, because I am who I am, I’m also so excited for the return of spring fashion — and I’ve definitely been eyeing up some pieces... Let me show you all of the items I’ve been loving enough to put in my cart this year!

What I Love in Spring Fashion

Whenever spring comes around, the first thing I start to think about is fact that I get to pull out all of my sundresses! Once the warmer weather hits, I practically live in sundresses (usually midi-to-maxi lengths!), rompers & overalls. I’m not much of a shorts girl myself, so if you’re like me, well this post is for you! I also get so excited to accessorize again, including wearing more hats, and statement handbags. In the winter, I always find myself falling into a rut of just wearing whatever is the warmest, especially while walking my dog, so fashion truly goes out the door in the winter for me!

I also love to wear lots of white denim in the spring! I know it feels a little risky considering spring also means lots of rain and mud, but I absolutely love to pair white denim jeans with a cute blouse or oversized t-shirt, paired with sandals or even sneakers depending on what I have going on that day, and since I love accessorizing, adding a market tote and straw hat for a visit to the farmers market… Thinking about all of this has me so excited for the farmers markets to reopen again this year as well!

So what are you most excited about for spring, and which item on here is your favourite?! Are you like me where you’re all about sundresses and straw accessories, or are you more into shorts and t-shirts? Let me know in the comments below!
