3 Ways to Style the Summer Jilly Box Road Trip Dress
When the summer Jilly Box this-or-that item was announced way back in April (hard to believe that was already two, almost three months ago as I’m writing this!), I instantly fell in love with the look and fit of the Jilly Road Trip Dress that was created in collaboration with Jardines Domaine. It looked like it would be a dress that fit tons of body types, was very size inclusive (huge improvement from last summers dress!), and a great piece that could be dressed up or down, no matter what the occasion. Of course, when it arrived, it lived up to my excitement.
Since the box arrived, I’ve pretty much lived in this dress, and I’ve found myself excited to wear it for so many occasions, especially now that it looks like a ton of us may be fully vaccinated by the end of the summer! Here is how I plan on styling my Jilly Road Trip Dress for different occasions:

DAY-TO-DAY
Honestly, this dress has become my go-to for warmer summer days, even when I’m just working from home! It’s so comfortable, flattering and makes me look really put together for my video meetings. Whenever I step out to go to the store, I just add a pair of espadrille sandals, some sunglasses and of course, a mask, to complete my look before grabbing my purse & heading to the store.

POOL OR BEACH DAY!
Whether you’re lucky enough to have a pool or live by a beach, the Jilly Road Trip Dress makes for a great cover up over a swimsuit for when you’re on your way, or just hanging out poolside/on the beach. Honestly, everything about this look makes me excited about the idea of hanging out at my family’s pool, enjoying the summer sun and hopefully not getting a sunburn, haha!

ROAD TRIP
How could I not think about a road trip in the Jilly Road Trip Dress? Also because, what screams summer more than a road trip!?! Nothing, in my opinion! I used to so look forward to my family’s annual summer vacation in Cape Cod, MA each summer, and we’d drive the entire way. It was long, but I think this is what sparked my love of road trips. Of course, if you’re in the car for a long time, you want to be extra comfy, so grab some sneakers, a scrunchie and don’t forget your Road Trip bag to keep all of your essentials in!
There you have it! Three ways I’ll be styling my Jilly Road Trip Dress this summer, and probably every summer going forward! Also, here’s a tip if you find your dress a little too big and/or long on you, do yourself a favour & throw it in the dryer once, maybe twice depending on how much smaller you want it.
