3 Ways to Style the Winter 2021 Jilly Box Scholar Shacket

Good afternoon (or good morning, depending on where you are in the world!), and welcome back once again to my blog. I took a little unexpected break again from my blog over the last couple of weeks (it’s been a rough few weeks to say the least), but I am ready to jump back into all things fashion, lifestyle, home decor & everything in between! Of course, I couldn’t think of any better way to start my return to blogging than with a good old Jillian Harris inspired post! So, let’s talk about all of the ways I’m planning on styling the gorgeous Scholar Shacket from the winter 2021 Jilly Box!

01. Casual Daytime Outing

The idea of just wearing a shacket over top of a t-shirt while the weather feels like -22°C with the wind chill as I’m writing this is making me shiver in the worst possible way, but that being said, once it’s warm enough out, this will absolutely be my go-to outfit in the spring! There’s nothing I love more than a comfy pair of leggings, and pairing them with my new absolute favourite t-shrit from Abercrombie & Fitch (if you know, you know). Throw on some cute, and most importantly, comfortable boots while I’m out and about doing groceries or shopping makes this the most perfect day-to-day outfit for me.

02. Shopping Day

Are you feeling like you’re experiencing a little deja vu? Didn’t I just say something about shopping? Well, yes I did! But this outfit is most definitely more for my more intense shopping days. I’m talking shop-til-you-drop kind of shopping days that you have with your friends. Adding a cute (and vegan!) belt bag over your sweater but under the shacket adds a little something to the outfit, while keeping your hands free for shopping and your wallet safe & close to you!

03. All Dressed Up (with nowhere to go)

It feels like we were all just on the brink of maybe starting to go back to normal and then omicron really said no eh?! Well, when the time comes (and it will) that we can go back out again, this adorable outfit will be waiting. The sweater dress with stockings & knee-high heeled boots makes it a great outfit for an office look, a coffee shop meeting or even post-work drinks.

How will you be styling your shacket? As you can see in this photo of my dog and I, so far I’ve pretty much only had the chance to wear it out with a big cozy sweater under it to stay warm while we went for a nice trail walk. But, when spring gets here, I can’t wait to style it up a bit more & wear it out and about!
