Unboxing the Fall 2022 Jilly Box

Happy almost September everyone! Next week, the fall fun officially kicks off, however before then, it’s time to unbox the Fall 2022 Jilly Box! My box just arrived last week, and I’m ready to share all of the fall goodness that was packed inside. I can hardly believe this is now my 11th box!? I truly feel so, so blessed that I have a subscription & definitely do not take that for granted. If this is your first time here, feel free to check out my past Jilly Box unboxing blogs & without further ado, let’s get this unboxing started! (I think this goes without saying but, SPOILERS AHEAD!)

C'mon Cinnamon

Laid Back Snacks

Once we started to get the teaser emails about the fall 2022 box, the moment I saw the allergy warning saying there would be almonds, cashews & pecans in this seasons box, I had a feeling it had to be something from Laid Back Snacks, so of course, I went on a hunt & came across the C’mon Cinnamon mix & knew that it just had to be that, and I was right!

I must say, I’m quite excited to give this product a try! My favourite time of the year to be outside is the fall, and based on what I’ve seen in the unboxing video from Jillian, it seems to be that the Northern Woods Spray is a great one to have while you’re spending time outside. I’m personally very curious if the spray works to deter bugs!

French Press

Grosche

If you don’t already know this about me, coffee is like one of the only things that gets me out of bed in the morning (one of, okay?), so I’m super excited to give this French Press from Grosche a try! I will say, I generally prefer a pour over, but ultimately, coffee is delicious no matter what, in my opinion. Also, look at how absolutely beautiful the French press itself is! I’m also a huge fan of the charitable component of this product — every product sold provides 50 days of clean, safe drinking water for those in need. How incredible is that?!

Card Game

Cool to Connect

Now, I will admit, when I saw this product in the box, I was a little skeptical about how much I’d use it, but maybe my mind can be changed based on how cool the concept of this is! What I love about this game is that it really allows you to ask your friends (and even yourself) some hard-hitting questions that frankly, we might have lost a little bit due to constant digital connection. I’m excited to give Cool to Connect a try with just my partner and I too!

Striped Socks

Q For Quinn

As far as I’m concerned, there’s nothing that screams fall quite like a cozy clothing item. In 2020, it was a scarf, in 2021 it was a blanket/scarf combo & in this year’s box, it’s socks! I don’t know why but I’ve had an obsession with cute socks for years, and these are no exception. I’m loving the warm tones in the stripes & these are just going to be so cozy in a pair of boots while on a fall hike with our dog!

Portable Speaker

LSTN Sound Co.

This Portable Speaker truly could not have come at a more perfect time! As you may, or may not know, I’m getting married this fall & of course, the morning of, we need some music to really get us pumped up & excited (and coffee… lots of coffee) for the long but exciting day we have ahead. When I saw this item in the box, I instantly knew that I wanted to use it for this! After that, it’ll be the perfect speaker to have on hand for any time we spend outside.

To go perfectly with that French press is this sleek and simple Coffee Tumbler! This item was a this or that item that was randomly selected for us, with the options being white or blush pink. Ultimately, I really wanted the blush pink, but I got the white & that’s okay too! I just already have a white Yeti tumbler that looks very similar, so I might see if someone’s up for a trade on the BST groups.

Maple Syrup

Canada West Maple

Okay, nothing says Canada, especially fall in Canada like maple syrup, right?! I’m so glad I’m not alone in my thinking that maple is the ultimate fall flavour (alongside pumpkin spice & apple cider of course!), and I absolutely love the design of the label! I’m definitely going to be using the glass as a vase for some small flowers after it’s all used up.

Bonjour Pillow Case

Province of Canada

Last in the box, but certainly not least — in fact, this might be my fiancé’s favourite Jilly Box item ever — is the Bonjour pillow case from Province of Canada! At first glance, it wasn’t my favourite, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought “this would be really cute with some of my warm toned pillow cases on the couch…” and the rest was history! This pillow case didn’t come with the insert, so if you’re curious, the size seems to be around 20”x20”.

Add-On: The Everyday Tote

Poppy & Peonies

It’s add-on time. Much like other boxes, I’ve come to end up with two add-on’s… what can I say? I just can’t resist a cute Jillian collaboration item! This Everyday Tote from Poppy & Peonies stuck out to me because not only is it cute, but it’s so functional. I pictured myself using it for groceries, and even packing all of our dog’s gear for cottage weekends since he doesn’t really have a bag big enough for all of his stuff (I know… toys take up room okay?!)

The other add-on I got for this box was this absolutely gorgeous Orange Every Child Matters Shirt from Awasis Boutique. I’m always looking to find new Indigenous-owned small shops to support, but I’ve also yet to buy myself an orange shirt for Orange Shirt Day / Truth & Reconciliation day, so I’m thrilled to not only finally have a shirt, but know that it 100% came from an Indigenous owned shop & artist.

Another season, another Jilly Box unboxing blog post coming to an end. I loved the outdoorsy-camping theme to this box a lot more than I thought I would in all honesty! I’m not much of a camping girl (shocking, I know), so I wasn’t sure if I’d love it but I’ve gotta say I think I’ll use almost all of these items daily throughout the fall! What was your favourite item? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time, Emily
