Five Shows To Binge This Fall

With the fall very quickly approaching, I can’t help but get excited at the thought of cuddling up on the couch with a hot cup of tea, a fuzzy blanket & watching some of my favourite binge-worthy shows. If I’m being quite honest, I definitely have already started doing that this year, because my favourite past time usually involves getting cozy & enjoying a good show or movie. In other words, I’ve been doing just fine in this pandemic. So what shows am I binge watching this fall? Let me tell you:

Gilmore Girls

Netflix

Gilmore Girls

I think we can all agree the quintessential fall TV show series to binge watch is Gilmore Girls. This whole show is an absolute autumn-vibe, specifically the opening credits, but I can’t help but feel all happy & cozy whenever I watch this show. If you’ve never seen it before, start it. If you have seen it before, this is the sign you needed to watch it again.

Jane The Virgin

Netflix

Ahhh, Jane The Virgin. Probably single-handedly one of the greatest shows to ever come out. Ever. I don’t know a single person who has seen this show & not enjoyed it. The whole show is a telenovela-style comedy-drama, and is filled with romance & love triangles, and I can pretty much promise you’re going to keep clicking “I’m Still Watching” every time that Netflix asks if you’re still watching. Plot twist Netflix, we’re always still watching… there’s a pandemic happening outside!

The Mandalorian

Disney+

If you don’t already know this, I’m a huge Star Wars fan, so when Disney announced that there was going to be a show on Disney+ called The Mandalorian, I obviously knew I was going to be hooked, and boy was I right. If you haven’t watched The Mandalorian, you’ve 100% seen a Baby Yoda meme (yes, that’s where it’s from in case you didn’t know). If you aren’t already interested in watching it, I think Baby Yoda is reason enough.

Stranger Things

Netflix

Fall means Halloween, and though Stranger Things isn’t really a Halloween show, it definitely gives spooky vibes, right? I think pretty much everyone on this planet has watched Stranger Things, and rightfully so – it’s probably one of the best shows Netflix has come out with, like, ever, and I think we can all agree that re-watching this show as we get closer to Halloween sounds like a good idea.

Gossip Girl

Netflix

Yep, Gossip Girl. This show is such a guilty pleasure for me, and has been since it came out. Plus, if I’m being honest, this show gives me a lot of nostalgia to my middle school & high school days, and makes things feel right in the world, and I think we could all use a little “feeling right in the world” this year.

Well, there you have it! These are my top five shows I’m going to be binge watching this fall. I’d love to know if you agree with any of these being a good fall-binge-watching-shows, or what other shows you think should be on this list - until next week!
