My Favourite Shops For iPhone Cases

Anyone who knows me, knows I am the absolute queen of iPhone cases. For some reason, I’ve always been absolutely enthralled with having a phone case that compliments my outfit, the season or the holiday (yep - the season and holiday). Every single time that I get a new phone, I’ll forever say “This time, I am not going to buy 10+ cases. I don’t need more than at most, 2 or 3.”, but do you think I ever actually stick to that? Hell no. I go hog wild, and buy every single cute iPhone case that I can see, and because of it, I’d say I’m pretty much the master collector of phone cases now, and an overall pretty good judge of what’s worth the price tag & what’s not; if I do say so myself. So today, I want to share with you my favourite cases for my current iPhone, and give mention to where I love to get my cases from.

Have you ever had a phone case that you absolutely loved, and when you upgraded your phone, you knew you wouldn’t be able to find that case for your newest phone again? Well, this is where Casetify comes in! Because there are thousands of designs available to choose from, that are all printed to order, you can buy that same case for your newest phone! They also offer Custom Photo Cases as well, like the one I had done (shown above), with photos from my trip to Hawai’i back in February. Though they mostly are geared towards iPhone users, there are tons of Android options available for purchase as well.

A Case That Sparkles for Days

Yeah… did you think we were going to get through a single blog post without me mentioning a product that I bought because I was heavily influenced by Jillian Harris? I really should just rename my blog from Emily Lavinskas: Lifestyle Blog to Emily Lavinskas: Jillian Harris Fan-girl Blog. Now this all being said, the Twinkle Phone Case from Case-Mate is the one I find myself coming back to again, and again. I can’t deny that I’m a sucker for all things that sparkle, and this case is no exception; but of course looks only carry a phone case so far, it has to be protective too, and I can absolutely say that this case is protective. It’s actually the hardest case to remove from my phone in my collection, so I think it’s safe to say it’s pretty dang protective.

Completely Compostable

Be still, my environmentally-friendly loving heart. Pela Case is just a company after my own heart - not only are they environmentally-friendly, but they also are a Canadian company! We all know how I feel supporting my fellow Canadians. You may be wondering “what makes this company so environmentally-friendly?”. Well, that’s because their phone cases are 100% compostable! Another added bonus to help the environment is that there’s very minimal packaging. When you place an order, your items arrive in a paper envelope & that’s it. Not only does this product protect your phone, it also protects the planet, and it comes in a ton of designs & colours, and probably has the most options for Android phones I’ve ever seen. If you upgrade your phone, and you now want to compost the one you had, but you don’t have a composter, or your municipality doesn’t have a composting plan, you can get in contact with Pela so you can return the case to them & they will compost it properly for you!

Never Run Out Of Battery Again

If you’re anything like me, and you’re a heavy user of your iPhone, like, to the point that you’re running out of battery by the early evening, the Apple Smart Battery Phone Case is 100% for you! Okay, hear me out here though - I know you’re probably going to click on this link, go look at the price, and say, “there’s other cases that do the same thing for half the price, why the hell should I fork out $200 on this one?”. Well, let me explain - when you purchase from another company, the case is functioning by continuously charging your phone until the case runs out of battery itself, and then your phone will think it’s been taken off the charger, which at the end of the day, actually ruins your battery. The way the Apple charging phone case works is by bypassing your battery, essentially, making your battery turn off, and telling your phone to run on the battery in the charging case, and then when it runs out, your internal phone battery will take over. Because Apple owns both the software & the hardware in this case, they’re able to do this, and it is much better for your phone battery to do it this way!

Beachy Keen

Last, but certainly not least, the Shelly Pearl case from Sonix. If you haven’t figured this out already, or this is the first time you’ve stumbled upon my blog, I’m a big ocean girl. I love the ocean, and every single thing in it! So when I saw that the Shelly Pearl Case existed, I immediately asked for it for Christmas last year and my mom delivered. It’s actually an extremely protective case - I was genuinely shocked by how thick the case was - and it looks outrageously cute since the little pearl details on the case are 3D. Now, do I think this case is for everyone? Definitely not. I know some people would probably get annoyed that it doesn’t necessarily sit flat, or by those little 3D pearls, but hey, it’s cute as heck, so I had to include it on this list! Plus, if you don’t find yourself loving this case in particular, Sonix makes a ton of other cases that are more like your typical “flat” case, which I’ve had before as well, and they’re also very protective.

So, where do you like to get your phone cases from? Or are you normal and buy only one and use that one until you either upgrade your phone or it breaks? LOL. I’m the first to admit I have a problem as far as buying phone cases goes – I just can’t help it, there’s so many cute ones out there and I have more interests than just one plain case, haha!
