Leopard Print: The Perfect Fall Neutral

Leopard print; you probably either absolutely adore it, like me, or you absolutely do not like it, much like my boyfriend. If you’re a leopard print lover, stick around — this blog is for you! If you ask me, I very much consider leopard print a staple in my closet year round, but especially in the fall. I’m not really totally certain why it so specifically speaks to me during that time of the year, but hey, I’ll roll with it. A lot of my favourite fall clothing and accessories items featuring the pattern, and the best part is, it’s basically a neutral.

You might be thinking “uh, no. Leopard print is not a neutral”; well here is where I challenge you to think outside of the box! Leopard goes with just about any colour. Black, white, pink, blue — it doesn’t matter, it goes. It pairs well with regular leggings, denim jeans, faux leather leggings, white jeans and the list goes on & on. This all being said, it’s not like it has to remain on clothing items! Some of my absolute favourite accessories that are leopard print are tech items too. Let me show you my current favourite leopard print items:

If you’re not comfortable going all out with the leopard look, you can easily wear it on simpler accessories like a belt, sunglasses, a scarf or even a face mask (PSA: stop the spread of COVID-19 & wear a mask!). Some of my personal favourite leopard print items in this list are the slide on runners, the iPhone case & of course, the leggings. I know some people may be intimidated by those bold leggings, but trust me — those paired with a cozy, cable knit black sweater, an oversized denim jacket & some slide on runners would look amazing!

Are you team leopard print or is that pattern not really your thing? I’m curious to know what other patterns you consider to be your go-to fall look. I know a gingham or plaid would look nice and so many people love houndstooth in the fall as well. See you again on Wednesday for a new post!
