Must Have Boots & Shoes For The Fall
I have said it before, and I will say it again (and again, and again, and again) — fall is my absolute favourite season, and I know it’s a ton of yours too. The cozy & comfy clothes, the colours, the cool air. What’s not to love? One of my favourite things about fall is the shoes! I’m a big fan of boots, sneakers & pretty much any type of shoe really… my mom used to call me Imelda Marcos all the time as a kid (I guess she had a lot of shoes too?).
Today I broke down all of my favourite boots, sneakers, flats & heels that are currently being sold for the fall season. I’m definitely not someone who wears the same pair of shoes everyday, and I love to have variation to go with whatever I’m feeling that day. Sometimes a pair of flats just looks better with an outfit than heeled booties. Or, let’s be honest, there’s usually a lot of rain involved in the fall season too – does that mean you have to wear ugly boots? Hell no! There’s so many cute rain boots now, there’s no excuse not to have a pair you’re actually excited to wear.
It also doesn’t hurt to have some variation in colours in your collection too. I used to be someone who pretty much exclusively wore black, and that was about it, and almost all of my shoes were black too. I finally started branching out into some other colours a few years ago, and I’m so happy I did! Sometimes camel booties just really make an outfit instead of just plain black ones.
Flats & Sneakers
Comfort & style? Yeah, sign me up. If you know me well, you know that I used to always choose style over comfort, but there’s really no reason to. Sneakers are super in, always comfy & go with pretty much any outfit (even skirts & dresses). If you’re not so much of a sneaker person, but still aren’t wanting to commit to heels all day, a cute pair of flats can really flatter almost any outfit.
Heels
I know there’s some brave souls out there who are willing to rock the heels pretty much all day, and somehow can!? You guys are super heroes, and I applaud you because I definitely cannot. If your outfit calls for a more dressed up shoes, or you live in a warmer climate where boots for fall isn’t exactly realistic, these fall coloured heels could be your calling.
Boots
The creme-de-la-creme of fall fashion – boots! I love boots of all shapes, colours, styles, sizes, etc. You show me a boot, I probably want it. Boots are just an absolute staple in my fall wardrobe given that it gets cold where I live in September/October, and I love wearing warm fuzzy socks and boots to go anywhere. Not only does it keep me nice and toasty warm, but it looks great with anything.
