Your New Favourite Jeans For Every Season

Do you ever find yourself longing to find the perfect pair of jeans? The ones that are just so easy to dress up for a casual Friday in a business-casual office (lol - who knows if we’re ever going back to that!), or dress down for a Sunday morning of running errands? Hunt no more my friends, because I have found those jeans and they’re perfect.

If you ask me, the Levis 501® Stretch Skinny Jeans are the ultimate jeans to have in your collection because they go with absolutely everything and can easily be worn in spring, summer, fall and winter. I’m personally not a huge fan of overly distressed jeans - minor distressing is fine, but overall I like my denim to be more on the “perfect condition” side, so that I can wear them in the office (whenever that is) without being written up for violating the dress code! So, let’s jump into how I would style these for each season:

Collage showcasing the look for spring.

Ah, spring - the season of melting, dirty snow, budding trees and rain. I think we all know far too well that as much as spring can be beautiful, it can also be very wet and still kind of cold. Layering up on top with a henley tucked into the jeans, and a long blazer thrown on over top will keep you warm but still super cute. Throw on a pair of bright yellow rubber boots to keep your feet dry and add a pop of colour. Don’t forget to grab a tote bag to keep all of your important items in, and an umbrella to keep the rest of you dry if it starts raining.

Collage showcasing the look for summer.

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely not a big fan of shorts in the summer. The thigh chafing is too real, and quite honestly, I’d probably end up with a sunburn, so I generally opt for longer pants (*hint* jeans) in the summer. Since I’m bound to probably be a bit more toasty on the bottom half, pairing the jeans with a simple coloured tank top with a cowl neck neckline to add some interest (and keep ya cool!). Add a pair of sandals, a crossbody bag, sunglasses & a patterned, fun coloured scrunchie to finish off the look.

Collage showcasing the look for fall.

Fall, my favourite season of them all (that was completely unintentional, but I loved every second of it). Since the jeans are definitely more on a plain side, pair them with a bold patterned sweater for some interest, and layer it with a similar coloured long trench coat to keep nice and toasty as the weather gets cool. If you’re on the shorter side like myself, throw on a pair of heeled booties to add height, and pair a black bag with a tortoise shell handle that brings out the two main colours of the sweater and ties the whole look together. Lastly, don’t forget your sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun.

Collage showcasing the look for winter.

Finishing off this blog post is nearly everyone that I know least favourite season, winter. There’s no mistaking that in the winter you must bundle up or you’ll regret it (well, at least in Canada!), so stay nice and warm with a turtleneck sweater with a long wool trench coat over it. Winter boots no longer need to be ugly & bulky – grab yourself a pair of trendy winter boots & don’t forget a toque and your toastiest pair of mittens. Grab a crossbody bag with an adjustable strap to keep all of your items in, that comfortably fits over all of your layers.

So there you have it! Do you have another pair of jeans you consider to be your go-to favourites? If you don’t, I hope this blog gave you plenty of inspiration! Don’t forget to come back on Friday at 1pm EST for a new post - Halloween is coming!!
