My Top 20 Favourite Jilly Box Items to Date!
Back on November 18, when everyone that was getting a Winter 2021 Jilly Box found out that there was delays due to the excessive rain that caused so much damage out in BC, it unfortunately really sucked. That being said, in the grand scheme of things, it really isn’t a big deal. A nature disaster happened, people lost their lives, pets, homes… getting my Jilly Box later than scheduled is truly a drop in the ocean in comparison to the problems people are truly dealing with!
Normally, I love to do my seasonal unboxing blog posts (check them all out here), and a winter 2021 unboxing blog is coming, but until the box arrives (it should be here any day now!), I thought “what’s a fun Jilly Box related blog post that I could put out there for people to enjoy?” and then I thought “why not a favourites post!”. So here it is — my top 20 favourite Jilly Box items to date!
01. SHOP THE SKINNY: THE ERINN BOYFRIEND CARDIGAN
I really don’t think this one needs much explanation — a cozy cardigan in the perfect neutral colour is something I’ll always love!
02. SHADY LADY: HAYLEY SUNGLASSES
Something I always make sure I have with me is my Shady Lady Hayley Sunglasses from the Summer 2020 box. Having good quality sunglasses is a just a must for me!
03. TOFINO TOWEL CO: THE BEACHCOMBER TOWEL
Though I can’t say that I’ve used this towel often (thanks COVID), the few times I have, I’ve absolutely loved it! It dries quicker than you think and doesn’t feel absolutely soaking wet after use either.
04. SO PRETTY CARA COTTER: MINI HONOUR STUDS
Again, much like the cardigan, a great pair of simple, neutral, everyday studs is just an absolute must, if you ask me. They go with everything!
05. DROPLET HOME GOODS: THROW BLANKET
My obsession with the Droplet Home Goods blanket is out of this world. Though I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s my go-to when I’m freezing, it’s the perfect blanket to have around when you’re a little chilly. Plus, it looks beautiful!
06. JOE FRESH: CHENILLE POM-POM BEANIE
If you know me, you know I’m a sucker for hats, especially toques in the winter because I love to cover up my bad hair days, and frankly a good accessory can really make an outfit.
07. LARSSON & JENNINGS: THE JILLY WATCH
Again, this isn’t an item I use daily since I do have an Apple Watch, but when I’m looking to make an outfit more sophisticated or I just don’t feel like wearing my Apple Watch, this Larsson & Jennings watch is my go-to. Not to mention, this watch at full price is $250, and the entire winter box was $199! It was a great deal.
08. BRUUSH: ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH
A lot of people really didn’t like this product, but I loved it! Did I need a new toothbrush? No. But am I happy that I now have a travel electric toothbrush? Heck yes! Plus, it’s PINK! That being said, my only complaint is that I prefer a medium to hard bristle and these are extra soft — Bruush, please come out with some medium to hard bristle brush heads!
09. INDABA TRADING CO: WHITE HEART BATHMAT
You may be thinking “it’s just a bath mat”, and yes, it really is just a bath mat, but it’s SO cute! I’m a total sucker for anything with a heart on it, especially if it’s in a neutral pink colour, so I was just obligated to love this item, right?
10. URBAN BALLS: HELLO BEAUTIFUL WALL DECAL
Though it was one of the smallest items in any of the boxes, I absolutely adored the Hello Beautiful wall decal from Urban Walls. So much so, that I ordered more for gifts, and for other mirrors in my home.
11. RIOT THEORY: THE JILLY NIGHTIE
Loungewear and sleepwear are seriously some of my absolute favourites — honestly, who doesn’t love the idea of getting all cozied up in some cute & comfy pjs?! Not only was this nightie soft & comfortable, but the pale blue and white polka dot colour scheme was absolutely gorgeous.
12. JILLY DIGITAL: WILD AT HEART PRINT
Probably one of my absolute favourite items, ever, add-on or included product, is the Wild at Heart print that was offered as an add-on for the Spring 2021 box. In my opinion, the best part about this item is that it was actually printed & framed (in North America!), since so much of the Jilly brand is digital prints that you get printed & framed yourself, this felt extra special to get such a high quality print & frame.
Even though I have a full set up in my bathroom at home for my makeup, I loved getting this makeup case in one of the Jilly Boxes. It’s great for travel (and by travel, I mean sleeping over at my parents house - haha), and I even have enough room to keep my Brüush electric toothbrush in it for travel too!
14. MONIKA HIBBS HOME: ROAD TRIP CANVAS BAG
Another absolute favourite is the Road Trip canvas bag! It’s another item that I love using for travel, aka sleep overs at my parents, and will be the perfect weekender bag whenever I feel comfortable traveling to other cities again. It was a product I was eyeing up for months beforehand, and I’m so glad I never ended up getting it.
15. JARDINES DOMAINE: THE JILLY ROAD TRIP DRESS
After the summer 2020 Jilly Box dress being a complete flop (at least for my body type), getting a stretchy, oversized & comfy dress was just what the doctor ordered. I can easily dress it up with some wedges & jewelry, or dress it down with some platform sneakers & a denim jacket.
16. IMAGINE PERRY: ONE-PIECE SWIMSUIT
Since I hadn’t treated myself to a new swimsuit since we went to Hawai’i in February 2020, I decided to add this cute one piece swimsuit to my summer 2021 Jilly Box and I’m so glad I did. It’s comfortable, provides great coverage, the material is nice and thick & I love the pop of yellow with the striped pattern.
I haven’t purchased myself a new backpack in so long, so when I opened up the Fall 2021 Jilly Box and saw that this beautiful Fawn Design backpack was in it, I was so excited! Since I’ve returned to the office as well, it’s become my everyday backpack for putting my work essentials in!
18. ONE WEDNESDAY: LEOPARD PRINT SCARF/THROW
If you don’t already know this, I’m an absolute sucker for a good accessory, and it’s probably why I love fall & winter fashion so much. Leggings & a sweater are cute, but what makes it even better? Throwing on a neutral leopard print scarf! Scarves really can just dress up an outfit, and the best part about this scarf is it’s big enough to be used as a throw or wrap when you’re really cold.
19. POPPY & PEONIES: JILLY PINK BLUE LIGHT GLASSES
If you’re new to my blog, you may not realize what a huge fan of blue light glasses I am! I have two pairs at my desk at work, and three at home — I really love blue light glasses, so I was thrilled that these were in the fall Jilly Box & in the most amazing Jilly pink colour.
20. ROSIE JOAN: ROSE QUARTZ HEART BRACELETS
Last, but certainly not least, are two of my latest, everyday pieces of jewelry, the rose quartz heart bracelets that were an add on in the fall Jilly Box (safe to say that I loved the Fall 2021 Jilly Box, huh?). I’m not kidding when I say I wear these every single day now — they’re so beautiful and neutral, and don’t make annoying noises hitting my desk or keyboard throughout the day.

I couldn’t resist checking out the reveal post on Jillian’s blog before it arrived, and now that I know what’s coming, I’m even more excited!
