Unboxing The Spring 2021 Jilly Box

It’s here! It’s here! The official first Jilly Box of 2021 has arrived, and I am jumping right into starting this blog post only moments after unboxing everything on the floor of my living room. To start, if you’re new here, the Jilly Box is a quarterly subscription box from Jillian Harris featuring a handful of her favourite things, and I am lucky enough to be a subscriber, so I receive one of these boxes every quarter. This is the first box of 2021, and the theme of this box was self-care/self-love. Okay, I can’t wait any longer, let’s talk about the contents of this seasons Jilly Box!

Vegan Collagen Booster Gummies

Herbaland

Starting with the Herbaland Vegan Collagen Booster Gummies. I’ve actually used some of Herbalands products before and have been thoroughly impressed by their products. I love that they are so incredibly inclusive to a wide variety of diets and allergies — they are always vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free, halal, kosher & more! To read more about them, check out their About Herbaland page! Though I haven’t had a chance to try these yet (since I quite literally just opened the box as I’m writing this), I’m looking forward to finding out if their watermelon collagen boosting gummies are an item I’m going to add to my daily routine.

Radiance Dietary Supplement

Aura Inner Beauty

The next item on the list is this Radiance Dietary Supplement featuring antioxidants, probiotics & adapotgens in a pomegranate flavour. The main goal of this dietary supplement is to create a healthy connection between your gut & your skin! Yes, your skin & how it looks, can be closely connected to other health related things too, including your gut health. It also claims to aid in your digestion! Once again, I haven’t tried it yet but it seems like a really great item to include in your routine, especially after some unhealthy eating.

Hello Beautiful Wall Decal

Urbanwalls

This is one item that I was so excited to see when I opened the box! If you’ve checked out Jillian’s blog revealing the JHD Headquarters, you probably noticed that she has the cutest little decal across the bottom of their bathroom mirror that reads “Hello Beautiful” from Urbanwalls. It was one of my favourite little details in their entire office space, so to open the box & find that decal ready for me to place on my own mirror was so exciting! I haven’t decided exactly where I want to put it yet… I have a couple of mirrors in mind, but I’m not totally sold on the placement as I’m writing this.

Le Masque Sheet Masks (Pack of 3)

JB Skin Savvi

The next item in this box was a package of three Sheet Masks from JB Skin Guru. I’ve never heard of this company before, but taking a quick look through their website, the products seem very luxurious and high end, and the testimonials really speak for themselves! I’ve always loved sheet masks, however, they can be pretty wasteful so it was nice to see that these sheet masks are biodegradable. I look forward to having a lovely evening of self care (maybe a bubble bath?!) featuring one of these sheet masks!

Nightie

Riot Theory

After following along with Riot Theory for a while now, I was so excited when Jillian announced back in January that a this-or-that item would be available in this box from them! The options were between a lightweight robe or nightie, both in a lovely pale blue with white polka dots. I ended up selecting the nightie due to thinking with my cost-per-wear hat. With COVID, I’m ensuring that I wash everything before wearing it, so I have yet to wear it to bed, but the material seems so soft, high-quality & not overly heavy which will be amazing for those spring nights. Also, can we quickly laugh at how I had to pull out the mirror selfie for this shot because, well, firstly I didn’t get ready & secondly because I couldn’t find the tripod?! Haha!

Heart Bath Mat

Indaba Trading Company

Another item I was so thrilled to receive in the box was this adorable bath mat from Indaba! If this bath mat looks familiar to you, it’s because it’s that infamous Heart Bath Mat from The Cross Decor & Design that’s always on pre-order! The only difference with this one is that the colouring is opposite — the heart is white & the outer part is a nudey-pink colour. I’ve always had my eyes on that bath mat but never could quite convince myself to order it, so it was so exciting to open up the box and see it in there! Now to make sure my boyfriend doesn’t ruin it, and my dog doesn’t pee on it…

Electric Toothbrush

Brüush Oral Care

Last, but of course, never least — an Electric Toothbrush Kit from Brüush! Yeah, I definitely did not expect this one in the box, haha! However, I’m pleasantly surprised by it. I love that Jillian is incorporating some more items that feel like a necessity like quality oral care products, versus just stuff to add to our closet (though I will never complain about cute new clothes either!). I’m very much looking forward to taking his toothbrush for a whirl, and since it comes with a travel case, I think whenever we’re able to travel again, this will be my new travel toothbrush as I, of course, just got a brand new electric toothbrush only a few months ago, hahaha!

Add-On: Wild at Heart Print

Jilly Digital

And now the true last item, the add on item that I selected. There was two for this box — the print, which I will talk about now & the Goddess Necklace from Melanie Auld. I didn’t feel like I needed another necklace, so I opted to skip that, but couldn’t bring myself to pass up the ever iconic “Jilly” print that every big Jilly stan has wanted. It was available in two colours, red or mushroom, and I chose the red, since of course, it’s classic Jilly. It came printed & framed, and all of it was made in North America! It was pricey, for sure, but I don’t regret it one bit!

Another day, another Jilly Box! I’m not sure why, but it always seems to feel like the months fly and another Jilly Box has arrived before I even have time to register that the last one has arrived, haha! The total value of this box, not including the add on item, is $434.50! When you consider that this box sells for $199 (before tax), that’s pretty dang amazing. I hope you all enjoyed this unboxing blog post, and I look forward to seeing you again for the next blog post!
