Unboxing the Winter 2021 Jilly Box

It’s that time again — Jilly Box unboxing time! Last years Winter 2020 Jilly Box (you can check that blog out here) was hands down one of my absolute favourite (like top three) boxes to date, so I have really high expectations going into this unboxing, plus, this box was delayed due to the flooding out in BC closing down some major highways, but since they’ve reopened, boxes started to ship at the end of November and I’m so thrilled to say that mine is finally here! Let’s get right into this unboxing!

Scholar Shacket

Jackson Rowe

The one item that we all for sure knew about in this Jilly Box was the Scholar Shacket from Jackson Rowe, since we had to select our size, and I’ve been impatiently looking forward to receiving this box ever since! Shackets are one thing that I’ve been loving over the past year or so, and I can’t wait to wear this out and about (though, it’s already freezing where I live, so I’ll probably be waiting for spring to wear it out — it’ll have to work as a cardigan for now!).

Mint Chocolate & Dark Chocolate Melties

Purdy's Chocolatier

The next item in the box were the Purdy’s Chocolatier Milk Chocolate Mint Meltie & Dark Chocolate Meltie. Purdy’s seriously makes some of the best chocolate I’ve ever had, but that being said, I’m feeling pretty generous this holiday season and I just may have to share with them with my family… keyword here, may.

Mini Trees

Indaba Trading Co.

There’s nothing I love more during the holiday season than a mini faux bottlebrush tree (stay tuned for a holiday home décor blog where you’ll see just how much I love trees during the holidays)! This Mini Tree Set from Indaba Trading Co. is not only a great decoration for the season, but I also love that they’re white, so they’ll tie into any holiday décor you have, regardless of colour palette & theme.

Jilly Sparkle Ball Studs

Hilberg & Berk

Uhhh, hello beautiful little Jilly Sparkle Ball Studs! These are without a doubt going to be my go-to earrings to wear, not even just this holiday season, but this entire winter season. A huge highlight about these earrings for me is that you can wear them in water (which is so not common these days for more affordable pieces!), and they’re hypoallergenic so everyone can wear these beautiful little sparkly studs.

Woodland Candle & Wick Trimmer

Canvas Candle Co.

The next items — yes, plural — I want to share are from Canvas Candle Co.! Starting with this deliciously scented Woodland Candle… Ugh, I’m a total sucker for anything that’s got a tree scent to it! My favourite scents of holiday candles are always the ones that smell the most like a Christmas tree, but somehow, I may be even more excited about the second item, this beautiful gold Wick Trimmer?! This is another item that I have been eyeing for so long but just never got around to buying one — goodbye out of control flames & wasted candle wax!

Pom Pom Basket

Twig & Tassel

I can honestly say, this next (and final) item kind of threw me for a loop because it’s just not something I was ever expecting to see in a Jilly Box, but the Pom Pom Basket from Twig & Tassel was a welcome surprise! I’m still not 100% sure the way I want to use it since my dog will absolutely be all over this basket if I leave it on the ground, but at least until the holidays are over, I want to see if I can make it fit on my Christmas tree as a holder!

Add-On: Jilly Linen Apron

MagicLinen

Lastly, the add-on that I selected this season — the Jilly Linen Apron from MagicLinen! I’m a sucker for a cute apron, though I must admit, I’m bad for not actually wearing them because I just know I’ll ruin it. But, really, what are aprons for then?! I can’t wait to put together some yummy holiday treats in this sweet apron over the next month! (This may or may not be a hint of blogs to come?!)

Yet another Jilly Box, come and gone! Every time I write one of these blogs, I always think “ugh, another few months to go before the next one”, and then suddenly I’m writing the following seasons unboxing blog post! Here’s to the winter 2021 Jilly Box!
